Eniola Jacobs,a microbiology 300 level student of the University of Lagos,was rushed to LUTH earlier today, all in an effort to preserve his Life, after taking in an alarming amount of the locally made insecticide “Sniper”to end his young life.
It is not exactly clear why he did this,but the reason could be that he might have been suffering from severe depression. But we can’t say yet what caused the depression in the 1st place.
He’s been recently hospitalized. His parents have been reached thanks to the student union and association of the school but unfortunately,he passed away in the early hours of today.
May the Lord forgive his soul,and please anybody reading this post who is suffering from depression,remember "Suicide doesn’t end the chances of life getting worse, it eliminates the possibility of it ever getting any better". Try to live your life to the fullest. No matter how terrible your situation is,it will always get better overtime. R.I.P, Eniola Jacobs.
UPDATE : The school management has decided to take up the allegations surrounding his purported death and a candle light procession will be held by 5 p.m tomorrow from Eniola Jacobs faculty down to the student union building. The school urges staffs and students to come out and join the event.
