Hey there guys, how are we doing today? Trust the week’s been very good. Well, on my side here, it’s been quite terrible, I fell terribly sick earlier this week and that was why I was unable to post this editorial earlier as planned :-( But thanks to God, I’m doing very well alright now😃😁:-D

First Photos Of Jupiter's Poles Captured By Juno

That image is just one of the first of many to come from Juno, a NASA spacecraft that entered the gas giant’s orbit in July. It’s set to make at least 35 more revolutions around the planet from the north pole to the south, and in the process, hopefully unlock some of its mysteries.

It’s off to a good start. This first view of Jupiter’s north pole "looks like nothing we have seen or imagined before," Scott Bolton, NASA’s principal investigator of Juno, said in a press statement.

Nigerian President Impressed By The Simplicity Of Facebook C.E.O Mark Zuckerberg

                                                           


President Muhammadu Buhari commended the Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of social networking website, Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, for sharing his wealth of knowledge with Nigerian youths, and inspiring a new generation of entrepreneurs.
According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, the President spoke while granting audience to Zuckerberg at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Buhari said the various meetings held with Nigerian youths since his arrival in the country were most timely as the country was already exploring opportunities to spur development through entrepreneurship.

Yaya Toure Removed From Man City Champions League Group Squad

                                                                   

Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure will play no part in Manchester City’s Champions League group stage matches after being left out of the squad named on Friday by Man City coach Pep Guardiola.
The 33-year-old’s sole appearance for City this season has been in the 1-0 victory over Romanian outfit Steaua Bucharest in the second leg of the Champions League play-offs.
However, manager Pep Guardiola, who coached him at Barcelona and where Toure won the Champions League, two league titles and a Spanish Cup, has deemed him surplus to requirements for the group stage.

Samsung Recalling Note 7 smartphones due to exploding issue

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 on Aug. 19 to rave reviews, but after just a few weeks on the market, the world’s most popular smartphone maker is now halting sales of the handset and issuing a global recall following reports that it can catch fire or explode during charging.
In a statement about the matter, Samsung said it is “committed to producing the highest quality products and we take every incident report from our valued customers very seriously.”

300 Level Micro-Biology UNILAG Student,Dies From Suicide Attempt After Struggle To Save His Life.








Eniola Jacobs,a microbiology 300 level student of  the University of Lagos,was rushed to LUTH earlier today, all in an effort to preserve his Life, after taking in an alarming amount of the locally made insecticide “Sniper”to end his young life.
It is not exactly clear why he did this,but the reason could be that he might have been suffering from severe depression. But we can’t say yet what caused the depression in the 1st place.
